There is a critical lack of legal protection for Sabbath-keepers in the workplace, says Seventh-day Adventist attorney Mitchell Tyner.
"As a church organization, we take very seriously the Christian principle of being stewards of this earth and its resources," says the church's general secretary.
Two years after the bombing of the United States Embassy in Nairobi, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) continues to help survivors rebuild their shattered lives.
"It was a not-to-be-missed opportunity to let the Canadian public know more about the Adventist Church and what we stand for," says Ray Dabrowski, communication director for the Adventist Church worldwide.
